How to Rent Out Hunting Land

Hunting is a passion that many Americans share. There is just something great about the peacefulness of a morning hunt and the patience that is required to complete a hunt. In addition, hunting can be a great bonding experience with others, as parent-child hunting trips can be a great way to form bonds and instill values. One thing that is becoming common among hunters is the renting out of hunting land. Instead of using public game lands, renting hunting lands provides you with your own hunting area. When is it appropriate to look for rentable hunting land, and how should you go about renting the land?

Assess Need

The first step in renting out hunting land is assessing a need for the land. Sometimes public hunting lands just don’t provide enough, especially if the land is overly crowded with hunters. If you find yourself unable to properly hunt on public hunting grounds, then it may be time for a switch of location. Even if you are having success on public hunting grounds, renting out hunting land may be an attractive option for you. Sometimes a change of scenery or a new challenge is required to make a hunt fresh and exciting again. Although you are using the land, you want to make sure that the rental payments aren’t costing you an arm and a leg. In addition, you want to ensure that you have adequate access to the land. If there is a particular hunting season that you want to take part in, then you need to make sure that the rental agreement will allow you to have access to that land during that time period. After negotiations are finished and you’re happy with the deal, simply sign the document and enjoy your new hunting land!

When in Taiwan: 5 Things You Shouldn't Miss

Taiwan is slowly becoming one of the most popular destinations for Pinoys. It’s not surprising, to be honest, as the island is a modern powerhouse of a nation with an ideal geographical location. Taiwan also has a rich history and culture, which means you’ll enjoy hopping from temple to museum to park and back again.

With Taiwan’s many, MANY attractions, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. If you’ve recently booked a Taiwan tour package and feel like you need a bit of help choosing what to do or where to go, don’t fret. Here’s a quick list of places and activities you shouldn’t miss when in Taiwan.

Taipei 101

Taipei 101 got its name from its 101 floors. It used to be the tallest building in the world from 2004 to 2010 before it got dethroned by the Burj Khalifa. Nonetheless, this engineering marvel is still one of the world’s tallest freestanding structures. It also holds the record for the fastest high-speed pressurized elevator, which can reach speeds of up to 1,010 meters per minute. In addition, Taipei 101 also has the biggest mass damper. This huge steel ball, weighing a whopping 728 tons, sways in time with the building to resist movements caused by strong winds and earthquakes.

Visiting Taipei 101 and its observatory on the 89th floor is among the top things to do in Taiwan, and it’s definitely worth the ear-popping elevator ride. It’s best to visit near the evening to catch the sunset and the twinkling lights of the city below. However, make sure to check the weather forecast before visiting, since cloudy skies can somewhat ruin the views.

Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall

Another must-visit in Taiwan is Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall. It’s the most notable historical landmark in Taiwan, built in 1980 as a tribute to the country’s founder, Chiang Kai Shek. The actual memorial hall is about 250 feet above-ground and features an octagonal blue roof. The design is a symbolism for the number 8, which is linked with abundance and good fortune. Meanwhile, the two sets of white stairs with 89 steps each lead visitors to the main entrance. The number represents Chiang’s age when he died.

One of the reasons tourists flock to Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall is to witness the ceremonial changing of the guard. The ceremony happens every hour, so it’s best to come early to get the best spot. Other points of interest in this iconic landmark are the library and museum on the ground level. These contain exhibits about the life of Chiang Kai Shek, as well as information about the history of Taiwan. Entrance is free, so that’s an added perk!

Jiufen

Are you a fan of the animated movie Spirited Away by Hayao Miyazaki? If so, then Jiufen is a must-visit. Located in the northeast mountains of New Taipei City, Jiufen is full of artist stalls, shops, and authentic tea houses. One such tea house is the 100-year-old A-Mei Tea House, which is one of the biggest inspirations for the bathhouse featured in Spirited Away. The movie went on to win the Academy Award’s Best Animated Feature in 2003.

Jiufen used to be a gold-mining village and it’s a wonder how everything is so well-preserved. Everywhere you look, you can see Japanese and Chinese elements that lend a truly unique vibe to the place. For those looking for unique pasalubong and souvenirs, Jiufen is the best place to look for little trinkets and random odds and ends.

Authentic Milk Tea/Bubble Tea

The milk tea craze has taken over the Philippines by storm in recent years. Everywhere you look, milk tea chains both local and international—and even some independent brands—are cropping up. But did you know that the Taiwanese have been enjoying this delicious drink since the 1980s?

You can choose between a milk-based or a fruit-flavored bubble tea, but for the most authentic experience, the consistency should be slushy smooth and the pearls should be chewy tapioca balls. If you really want the real deal, go to the first and original milk tea shop in Taiwan. Its name is Chun Shui Tang and you can find this shop in Taichung.

Yehliu Geopark

Yehliu Geopark is one of the most visited tourist spots in northeastern Taiwan. The unique formations were sculpted naturally after thousands of years of waves and sea winds carving out the softer portions of the rocks. The most iconic formation here is called Queen’s Head, which resembles Queen Elizabeth I. The formation is said to have taken 4,000 years to form, although it’s predicted to be broken in the coming years. This is due to the weathering rate of the formation’s “neck” of 0.2 to 0.5 centimeters per year. With this prediction, Yehliu Geopark has seen an increase in visitors in recent years.

Aside from the Queen’s Head, some of the most popular formations in Yehliu include Sea Candles, Fairy Shoe, Elephant Rock, Kissing Rock, and Princess’ Head.

If you don't have a passport or just don't want to travel too far from home, there are lots of great options to consider for a vacation right in America, some of which even offer an exotic feel that might make you think you're worlds away.

Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska

Located in the interior of Alaska, America's 'Last Frontier,' Denali National Park and Preserve is home to Mount Denali, the highest peak on the continent soaring 20,310 feet into the sky. It's a great place for a wilderness vacation, providing opportunities for outdoor adventure among magnificent scenery as well as wildlife watching. As the habitats here are diverse, with forest in the lower elevations, tundra in the middle, rock, snow, and glaciers at the highest, there are many different animals that can be spotted here. You'll see caribou herds roaming through the park, Dall sheep climbing steep mountainsides, moose feeding on aquatic plants in lakes and swamps, while black and grizzling bears frequently roam through the meadows.

Honolulu, Hawaii

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Honolulu offers it all when it comes to beautiful beaches and attractions. Waikiki is its world-famous beach and the hub of Oahu, providing countless things to see and do, including surfing, sunbathing, shopping, dining and more. You can also delve into America's history by visiting Pearl Harbor. The USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor is the No. 1 visitor attraction in the state. This is the very place where World War II began for America on December 7, 1941. You'll be standing over a gravesite where nearly 1,200 men lost their lives. With so much on offer in this city, you might even want to check out the Honolulu real estate for a second home or even a year-round residence.

San Francisco, California

If you're looking for city delights, San Francisco offers a wealth of attractions along with world-class eats and shopping. The emblem of Yorkshire is the White Rose of the English royal House of York, and the most commonly used flag representative of Yorkshire is the White Rose on a blue background.

Yorkshire or the County of York was so named as it is the shire administrative area or county of the city of York locally or York's Shire. "York" comes from the Viking name for the city, Jórvík. "Shire" is from Old English, scir meaning care or official charge. The "shire" suffix is locally pronounced "shuh", or occasionally, a homophone of "sheer".

The county covers 905 square miles (2,344 km2) and has a population of around 1 million. It is mostly rural, with a number of small towns and villages supporting the agricultural and other industries which produce Cheshire cheese, salt, chemicals, and silk.

I want to travel all over the world. I want to go to beautiful places together with my family. For now, I will work on to achieve this goal. Since I am not yet able to do it due to the financial crisis. I am only a stay at home mom without income. I am currently searching for home based jobs to earn and live a comfortable life. If I can't make it travel around the world, I hope at least I can explore here in the Philippines where there are amazing spots to see and a must visit once in a lifetime.

So far, Potipot Island in Zambales was one far place I have visited, that was during my stay as an accounting assistant in my first work. Two days and one night stay at Dawal Beach Resort, a treat for all employees. Sorry, I don't know the group package when we checked in.

We went to the Potipot Island first thing in the morning so that it wasn't that hot and we will eat our lunch there. It is a small island in Candelaria Zambales and a 15 minutes boat ride. They called it a little Boracay of the North because of the white sands.

Riding the boat made me so nervous but the moment we arrived at the island, it was breathtakingly beautiful.

The waves and the onshore breeze blowing from the sea toward land was a wonderful experience since it was not an everyday chance.

The trees in the island served as the shelter to rest after swimming and to keep away from the heat of the sun. You must have slippers or a beach ready shoes to avoid getting hurt from the sands and rocks while scrolling around the Island.

The water was crystal clear. It was a nice swimming moment on the beach when the sun isn't yet burning your skin. We scroll the Island while taking pictures of a beautiful spot. That time, I didn't have a digital camera for clear shots. I used mp3 player, that's why my photos was a bit blurred.

If you want to go to the beach, Potipot Island is a good choice. It is not that expensive. When there's a chance, I will come back and hope that 1 OPPO F1s is with me. It will help step-up my Philippine adventures because it has 16MP front camera, uses a front beauty camera with a 1/3 inch sensor and a F/2.0 aperture so I can take natural looking selfies even in low light conditions. It has also 13MP rear camera for wonderful night shots. The large pixels also work to bump up the dynamic range and give pictures a vivid depth and detail for capturing exceptional clear and detailed photos.

Summer is here! Are you excited? Me too!.. I just wanted to share to you my top Summer Wonders here in the Philippines where I would like to visit and have fun while it's summer (how I wish???). I'm sorry because I am sharing with you my top pick not based on my own experiences but it is based on my on going research and reader's feedback. Well, I know some of you are very excited to go on vacation, these top pick of mine are very nice place to enjoy your summer.

Boracay, Aklan - Boracay is probably the most well known place in the Philippines right now having earned the reputation as being the place to be for beach fun and parties year round.

The name Boracay is attributed to different origins. One story says that it is derived from the local word "borac" which means white cotton with characteristics close to the color and texture of Boracay's white sugary and powdery sand. Another credits the name to local words "bora," meaning bubbles, and "bocay," meaning white. Yet another version dating back to the Spanish era says the name is derived from "sagay," the word for shell, and "boray," the word for seed.

Boracay Island is located off the northwest corner of Panay Island, and belongs to the Western Visayas island-group, or Region VI, of the Philippines. The island is approximately seven kilometers long, dog-bone shaped with the narrowest spot being less than one kilometer wide, and has a total land area of 10.32 square kilometers.

Leisure activities available on or near Boracay include scuba diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, kiteboarding, cliff diving, and beach relaxation.Boracay offers a wide range of restaurants, bars, pubs, and nightclubs.

Boracay is served by two airports in Aklan province: one in Kalibo and Godofredo P. Ramos Airport (commonly referred to as "Caticlan airport") in Malay.
The western part of the Strong Republic Nautical Highway (SRNH) passes through Caticlan, with car ferries from Roxas, Oriental Mindoro docking at the Caticlan jetty port. Several bus companies operate provincial bus routes from Manila which pass through Caticlan via the SRNH.
The two main modes of transport are via motor-tricycles along the main road or by walking along the beaches. Pedicabs are also available for transport along the Beachfront Path. Other means of transportation include mountain bikes, quadbikes and motorbikes, all of which can be rented.
