My Kind of Tea

Who loves tea? What do you prefer, flavored or natural? I've been loving tea for quite some time now. I have tasted different brand and I wanted to share them with you.

According to study, drinking tea helps you live longer...

Of course, we all have to die eventually but we also want to enjoy and live life to the fullest before anything else. To be able to do so, we must live healthy, drink healthy and eat healthy food.

As I have said, I will share some brand of tea that I have tasted. The most popular tea from the market is Lipton Black Tea. It tasted the usual 100% natural leaf tea. They also called it the Red Tea. No added sugar that can count as your regular intake of water but it tastes good, no other taste that can ruin your taste bud. I sometimes added a little bit of sugar or honey to make me satisfied or milk for a better taste.

Another one is Alokozay Green Tea, 100% Pure Ceylon Tea.When my Father-in-law went home from UAE, he happened to take home a box of this tea. The aroma just like the black tea but the color is really green. This is one of the healthiest beverages and one of the most delicious that is loved not just me but for everybody.

Lastly, this is the best tea that I have tasted - Starbucks Teavana, Hibiscus Flavoured Herbal Drink. This is different from the two because it has flavor and kinda sweet. My brother-in-law is working at Starbucks and he always brings home some tea and honey which is I think an excess of inventory.

I don't know what is Hibiscus. But, according to Wikipedia, it is less widely known as rose mallow. In the Philippines, it is called Gumamela which is used by children to make a bubble. Now I know! Lol!

I didn't taste the hibiscus but the sweetness of papaya and mango is obviously gave good taste to the tea. The aroma of cinnamon is very strong than the lemongrass. I tasted much more of cinnamon to this tea. I put honey and it tasted sweeter. I love the blending of cinnamon and honey. I tell you to try it when you happened to drop by at Starbucks. I'm sure all branches offered tea like this one.This is the best tea!

Honey is said to be beneficial, too. It energizes our body, boosts immunity, fights bacteria, promotes healing of cuts and burns and home remedies for a sore throat, hangover and sleeplessness. This is really good to partner with tea. Aside from that, I love to put honey on my pancake which is the best match for tea as breakfast.

Aside from coffee, chocolate, soft drinks and alcohol, tea is one of the most popular manufactured drink in the world. For people choosing a healthy lifestyle, tea is a better option because it has benefits.

Black tea, green tea or flavored tea, they all have the same benefits that can help people to live longer.

Maybe prevented or improved arthritis, bone density, cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure and other illness.

‘Tis the Season to be SEPHORA Glammin’

One of the beautiful faces from the Hollywood that I adore so much is Taylor Swift. Her songwriting in a confessional way became hits and earned criticisms, one of them is "Love Story". Her red lips classic thing, she is an icon whose looks are copied all over the world by her fans. I am no exemptions. From a fair skinned, curly haired to sophisticated starlet whose signature style includes cat eye looks and red lipstick, Taylor became an ideal image for all girls who wants a chic and classic look.

I haven't done this before. I am just a stay at home mom and no parties to go to. I want some transformation and Taylor's look seems to be a good idea and hopefully, it will be a successful pampering for myself. I wanted to look good even if I'm just going to party with my family this holiday seasons. It's also a time to share some of my beauty wishlist for Christmas. When you are a Mom you'll become....

A manicurist. Being a manicurist at times is our bonding moment. We rarely did cleaning our nails, when I am in the mood. We usually make this moment when there's an occasion coming. Since December is a busy month for everybody, attending parties, reunion or school activities such as family day and Christmas party, we should be ready and prepared to not feel out of place because all are dressed up, hair dyed, paired with a new color of lipstick and makeup and even wearing branded perfumes. Days are passing by and the next day, it's time to party already.

Like others, mom like me wants some twin thingy (at least at a young age, kids won't mind). So I put them nail polish just like mine. Sparkling is what they preferred. I also love it. That's why I bought one yellow or kind of gold shimmering color. I always love the brand of Caronia, but since I only bought in the market, I got a no name brand. Lol! Take note, I made sure to disinfect the tools that I am going to use as I have read about it and to avoid getting infections since kids certainly get sick. This kind of moment makes my heart flutter. When I see them smiling and excited for the smallest things like these, I am absolutely guilty for those times that I am bad. Some called this " a kiss and makeup". Because I am their number one enemy!

When it comes to stubbornness, messiness and laziness of these kids, I get easily mad and became a monster. They insist what they want and I don't like it as well as they shouldn't be. They scattered the toys, throw trash anywhere and spill water or any drinks. They won't keep the toys back in their proper places. My kids really make my head aching any time, anywhere but I keep on moving because I love them deeply.

I am willing and always will be their manicurist until I grow old. Hoping that when I'm no longer cleaning their nails, they already know how to do it on their own and will do it on me.

It's Christmas time again. Catch a glimpse of pretty decorations, sparkling lights on the streets and small to huge brilliant Christmas trees. Time to list down all the names to gift giving. Thinking twice what to cook on holidays. All are busy shopping and sale are offered everywhere. Kids are excited for the gifts that they will be receiving and just like them, I am also wishing not only for myself but along with my family.

I am a mother of two beautiful kids. I want them to experience a good life. I want them to see at their young age that we are doing our best to give them the life that every parent hope for. Our priority now is to have our own house. Our own that we can call home. When that day comes, all the things that we need, some things we would like to have, we'll then work out to be accomplished. The creative designs, the awesome wallpaper, the elegant furniture and especially the branded appliances will be on top of my choices.
